I read this article in my hard copy of CT ... it was a beautiful insight as to how we can consider the art of centuries past in relation to the art of today. I was "wowed" by the detailed understanding of the 15th century Campin's "Annunciation Triptych" & how Weichbrodt, the author, additionally paralleled it to the modern-day "holy work" of Hendrickson's. We are reminded that "prayer and work" can be one.
